They weigh in at just 25kg. Defender upgrades have created a design on the extrusion to be more rounded to give a better aerodynamic look and feel to cause less drag. These Racks cause little wind resistance.......I know I had mine at over 70mph and it was very quiet!! This neat and easily installed gas strut kit will solve that problem and replaces the original door stopper. The gas strut will hold the door in place when open - even with a spare wheel in place - and will assist in the opening of the rear door too with a smoother and more controlled movement.
